Overview
Sage Pay has been written by Datascope systems, a leading developer of
payroll and personnel software to small and medium sized Australian
businesses. Sage Pay has been developed to offer a complete payroll
solution, not just another payroll package. It can be fully tailored to
meet individual requirements so that no matter how many employees you pay,
or how you currently pay them, Sage Pay will simplify the process.
Features and Benefits
Share data with other applications
Sage Pay has the ability to share data with hundreds of other software
programs via its optional ODBC database driver. You can write your own
reports using Crystal Reports, link information to a spreadsheet using
Microsoft Excel or Lotus 1-2-3, or create a form letter to Microsoft Word.
Reporting
Sage Pay's powerful reporting facility is one of the features that makes
it so flexible. There are over 50 reports built in that cover everything
from mailing labels though to a variety of costing reports, leave
liability reports, employee statistics reports, leave and earnings history
transaction reports, superannuation summaries, birth date, hired date and
action date reports, as well as this pay, month to date and year to date
reports.
Flexibility
Sage Pay's structure is flexible to allow you to reflect the way your
organisation is structured through various validation files.
Security
Sage Pay comes with a 2-level login and password system to facilitate administration.
Sage Pay also has its own backup
system and restore functions with a built in verification process to guard
against accidental data loss.
Multi Level Costing
Sage Pay supports a 2-tier costing structure to enable employee pay details
to be allocated to departments within cost centres. Not only that, but an
employee may also have their pay split into multiple cost centres, and/or
departments within the same pay, and at different pay rates if required.
Sage Pay can then produce a variety of costing breakdown reports from this
information.
Electronic Lodgement
Sage Pay can pay by cash, cheque, bank transfer (paper based) or Electronic
Funds Transfer via floppy disk or modem. Employees can have their pay
split between three bank accounts, plus an amount in cash if required.
Multi-Company and Multi-User
If you process payrolls for more than one company, it's not a problem.
Just choose the company you wish to work with when you log in. Sage Pay is
also available with the option of a multi user module. This allows
multiple concurrent operators to be processing payroll at the same time
with full record locking.
